Garlinck Dumont
Founding & Principal Attorney

In 2014, Attorney Dumont opened the doors of her general practice law firm to provide stellar legal services while building personal relationships with clients, colleagues and the legal community.  Attorney Dumont is currently licensed to practice law in both Connecticut and Massachusetts. Her current areas of practice include divorce, child custody and visitation; wills and probate; and criminal defense.

Attorney Dumont gives back to the legal community and community at large, having served as President of the George W. Crawford Black Bar Association, Chair of the Women in the Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, and further serves the public as a Pro Bono Attorney for the Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund.

Attorney Dumont takes tremendous pride in being a dedicated leader to the community and her clients.

Na'eelah Bakari
Paralegal

Na’eelah Bakari has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from Central Connecticut State University. She is a proud Coastie and prior to working at Dumont Law LLC, she was stationed in Key West, Florida. Na’eelah, who is a self-described polyglot-in-training, speaks fluent Spanish, and basic Mandarin. She hopes to attend law school in the future after finding a passion helping migrants during her time as translator for the US Coast Guard. Outside of the office, you can find Na’eelah sharpening her Muay Thai skills or looking through her oversized telescope at night.

Rachel Kupec
Law Student Intern

Rachel is currently a 3L at the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she is Vice President of the Family Law Society and Note & Comment Editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Connecticut. Upon graduation from law school, Rachel hopes to help low income clients and survivors of domestic violence with their family law needs. In her free time, Rachel likes to read novels and try new restaurants.
